Introduction

MY BOOK

I have written a book called ‘The Meaning Of These Strange Times And Beyond: Plotting Where We Are Headed In The Grand Time Plan Of The Bible Through A Study Of The Antichrist’. It is designed to illuminate and explain the biblical scriptures about the antichrist.

In the next post, I will post the entire book. Then, I will extract from the book it’s many inferred predictions about the future and put them into one document and post this. Finally, I will post ongoing reports of when these predictions become fulfilled, and how. Also, I will add any additional material that may become relevant in the future.

My next book will detail the deception of Revelation 20, which most of us today are subject to, although we don't realise it. It will be called 'The Great Deception'.

A FIRST INTRODUCTION TO THIS BOOK

Here is a first introduction to this book.

Today, we are experiencing the beginning of a combination of both massive global level tectonic geo-political power upheavals and societal-level cultural and economic metamorphoses, the likes of which have not been witnessed since the wheels of the Enlightenment hit the European road in a fertile uptake of groundbreaking reforms in the first half of the 1800s. New countries are about to rule the world; Marxist cultural and economic programs now hold sway with corporations, cultures and communities; and left and right wing political parties have completely changed their mission, agenda and constituency. The whole order of humanity looks like it is about to flip 180 degrees, to be replaced by something new. It all spells one thing, the one thing that so many people say they can feel, hear and smell approaching right now – revolution. The difference between revolution and evolution is that, whereas evolution is change at the fringe of something, revolution is change that occurs from the very core. It changes everything – even the fundamental form of the thing itself. It is water becoming ice; carbon becoming diamond. And, this kind of radical change can be both disorientating and disconcerting.

Where are we then, as Christians, to turn to find a clear explanation of what is going on, our part in all of this, and a stable sense of security that we can hold onto … in other words, meaning? The place we always go of course – God’s word, the Bible. For, as it turns out, God hasn’t left us in the dark. The changes above all fit into God’s grand pan-historic plan for humanity. This is the plan that orders and makes sense of all that happens both to and around us. It started in earnest with Abraham, and it continues with us today. Therefore, in order to explain the meaning of these and all times, I will both plot this expansive plan of God in the Bible from its beginning to its end, and locate where we are in it today. However, God’s plan has proven difficult to trace for theologians using conventional biblical exegesis down the centuries since Christ. Therefore, I will use two lesser-used methods.

First, to solve the problem of tracing the mystery of God’s plan for the whole history of humanity on earth, I will attack its toughest and most bewildering and difficult to nail down component – the antichrist of the Bible: Who? When? How? When I studied the antichrist, I found that the other components of God’s plan fell into place. This is because often, when trying to solve a mystery or a puzzle, it is the hardest part of the conundrum that is holding people back from finding the solution. In other words, despite the fact that a problem may appear to be completely unsolved, previous attempts at solving that problem may have come closer than anyone realises to finding the solution, but for one persistent complex factor that is stymieing all attempts at problem resolution. Thus, when this thwarting obstacle is removed, the backbone of solution opposition is crushed and the body of the problem falls away to reveal the solution. I correctly believed that this would more or less happen to the problem of the mystery of the God’s plan for the history of humanity, with the removal of the confounding obstacle of the very difficult and so far unfathomable antichrist mystery.

But, the problem of the antichrist has confounded theologians consistently. How could I be able to untangle this mystery?

This calls for my second lesser-used method. Whereas Biblical exegesis alone has taken us only so far, we know that the Bible exists in context. The book of Revelation plots an ascending and recurrent PATTERN of historical evil throughout the church age. In this book I will COMBINE these two: the exegesis of the Bible and the pattern of History. The result: a simple and elegant through-line into the heart of the problem of the antichrist that uses not just the left brain filter of exegesis, but also the right brain filter of pattern recognition, for double accuracy.

All in all, this is a new approach to penetrating the prickly conundrum that is the biblical antichrist. Come. Discover the antichrist of the Bible and, in the process, discover the meaning of these and all times.

BOOK BLURB

Most people know how Adolf Hitler became so powerful: he was a master orator, a consummate politician and a shrewd military tactician. Right? Wrong. By March 1940, Hitler had nearly taken the entire world in just 7 months of war. He had senior politicians in both England and the US requesting surrender terms from him. No one can experience that extent of good fortune, power and mesmeric persuasiveness so quickly simply by applying skills. He applied something much more powerful than human ability. He applied spiritual power. He said he did. And so did those who were around him. Moreover Napoleon, the only other person in modern history to conquer as much territory as Hitler, also claimed to have applied spiritual power.

But, you thought Hitler was basically a shrewd politician? You thought Napoleon was fundamentally alright? You thought the Enlightenment was merely a liberating reform?  May I beg to differ? Each man and movement contains ongoing and massive deceptions of Satan. They all try to permanently replace God’s glory with man’s guesses. They all launched an evil spiritual assault. Though each contained some good and helped many people, Satan was behind all three. Thus, they also sewed a permanent presence of evil into human societies and thinking; in Hitler’s case, one that could have conquered the whole world. And, it’s going to get much worse. Satan has worked away at his grand plan of deception, the antichrist, for centuries, through Napoleon, Hitler, and even today. And, in the future he will claim to have perfected it. Find out the origin of today’s developments and struggles; the true meaning of the times you are living in right now. And, have it all confirmed through the greatest source of wisdom in the world, a hidden and until now not fully utilised resource - Biblical Prophecy. Find out how this ascending pattern of history, from the dangerous Napoleon to the uber-dangerous Hitler, will continue to an imminent Chinese tyrant and a future monster who will be the final antichrist, how the Bible predicted it all, and how good God’s intentions are throughout all of this, as He seeks to save as many souls as possible.

Hey! If God is communicating to us through the Bible, shouldn’t we try to understand what he is saying? We won’t get it perfect. But, shouldn’t we at least try? This book will at last allow you to comprehend the least well understood topic area of the whole Bible: the prophecies of the future, and in particular, the antichrist.

Analysing over 500 Bible verses, this work will offer remarkable insight and penetrating clarity into a number of biblical conundrums and difficult passages and concepts, in order to turn the complexity of future prophecy into clarity.

The difficult areas of biblical comprehension that are examined will be both: (1) explained, simplified and demystified; and (2) placed into an overall scheme of connected ideas, so that the reader can see and understand how each concept connects with all of the other related concepts across the Bible. It isn’t enough merely to understand the concepts of the Bible, we must also be able to connect them, otherwise you just end up with an ‘archipelago’ of unconnected small islands of information that you cannot readily apply in the real world of connected ideas.

The following difficult parts of the Bible are explained and simplified in this book: Genesis 16 and 17; Ezekiel 38; Daniel 2, 7, 8, 11 and 12; Zechariah 12, 13 and 14; Matthew 24; Romans 11; 2 Thessalonians 2; 1 John 2, Revelation 6, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22; and many, many more sections.

The jigsaw of biblical prophecy has 5 main pieces: (1) the future of ethnic Israel, (2) the millennium and the Second Coming, (3) the Olivet Discourse, (4) the judgement and the new earth, and (5) the antichrist. These pieces have never ever been fit snugly together, with a clear and proven picture of the antichrist, despite the likes of Isaac Newton spending more time on it than he spent on his science. Why? Because have not been enough historical clues - until now. How has this puzzle been solved? Biblical exegesis alone has only taken us so far. If we merely use the Bible, it is impossible to tell much about what the antichrist will be like, let alone in what millennium he will come. But, what if one goes a step further and analyses God’s exquisite big-picture patterns in both the Bible and history? This book introduces a new approach to penetrating the prickly conundrum that is the antichrist. The result is a through-line into the heart of an elusive enigma. The Bible should be understood. But, its prophecy isn’t. Come. Discover the antichrist of the Bible.

AN ARGUMENT FROM PROBABILITY IS NOT NECESSARILY UNRELIABLE

Some Christians may say that, because my book ‘The Antichrist Theory’ poses an argument from probability, it has little or no value.  However, it uses the very same logic method that is used for many of the Bible verses that Christians universally believe and trust – the logic of probability.

In Romans 1:19-20, Paul passionately declares that the existence of God is a plain fact that can be inferred from the creation. Unpacked, he argues that, given the enormous number of interlocking items and processes in creation, what are the chances that all of that is simply one enormous coincidence?  Indeed, we now know that the likelihood of just one event, the chance creation of the first protein molecule, is widely agreed to be prohibitively low. Therefore, since a chance formation of the universe is so unlikely, and since only God could ever create such a complex mega-system as creation out of nothing, this sufficiently proves God. An atheist scientist, however, would say that this does nothing of the sort. He would say that an unlikely actualisation of the universe doesn’t prove an ethereal God. This proof would require comprehensive and precise evidence.

Paul would reply that the atheist should use his common sense and see that nothing anywhere near so comprehensive or precise is required for proof that God exists. Every single day, we make life and death judgements based on the existence of the sun, of oxygen and of air pressure that we can’t prove absolutely. We hardly need scientific proof to be sure that an everyday item that we regularly rely upon exists.

At John 14:11 and many other places, Jesus argues similarly. He preached to the Pharisees that they had the proof of his deity. They only had to look at his miracles. Unpacked, his argument asserts that if he can regularly do the things that only God could ever do, and he can even do them with ease, isn’t he overwhelmingly likely to be God? Once again however, an atheist scientist would disagree, saying that miracles don’t prove an incarnate God. And, once again the Bible would reply with the common sense argument.

Also, Paul in Romans 8:32 argues that, if God gave his own son for the elect, surely he will also give the elect all the other things he can give them, because nothing could ever be more precious to God than his own son. This time, an atheist scientist would say that one gift does not establish the certainty of other gifts. And, once again the Bible would reply with the common sense argument.

Many times (eg. Acts 3:24 and Romans 3:21) the Bible cites the mass of prophecy (over 400 fulfilled prophecies) that predict the earthly coming and mission of Jesus as proof that he is who God says he is, because the likelihood that this entire mass of fulfilled prophecies is simply one great big coincidence is so small that it is negligible. An atheist scientist would argue that this does not disprove that such a coincidence couldn’t have happened. And, once again the Bible would reply with the common sense argument.

Finally, looking at Galatians 3:21 in the Message Bible, Paul argues that keeping the whole law using only one’s own efforts is impossible because so many have tried to do this for so long and no one has yet succeeded. If it were possible, it would have happened by this time. Yet, an atheist scientist would most likely argue that past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. And, once again the Bible would reply with the common sense argument.

The Bible’s particular brand of logic here is clear: if the existence of something is deemed to be overwhelmingly likely, then that thing is deemed to be both established and proven. So, for example, if a thing is 999, 999,999 out of 1,000, 000,000 likely, it is sufficiently established as existing. Some may argue that it is technically possible that a one in one billion exception to the rule may render this statement false. However, this is not going to happen. So, put away your lab coat and join the real world of miners and housewives, mechanics and parents who live by and make daily judgements by this sort of common sense logic every single day.

It is true, an argument from probability requires great logic and discipline in order to make it trustworthy.  However, from the passage above, I think that I have signalled that such logic and discipline will be present in my postulations.
